During the period from 16 to 19 March 2022, the esplanade of the monument of reunification in Yaounde hosted the National Employment and Green Economy Fair (SANEEV).
Under the patronage of Dr. Florence PALLA and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) and the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training (MINEFOP), the first edition of SANEEV took place under the theme “Cameroon facing the triple requirement of fighting unemployment, creating wealth and protecting the environment”.
The event included B to B meetings, exhibitions and several thematic workshops focusing mainly on green and greening professions in Cameroon, the Green Economy and professional integration, international cooperation and the green economy, the Circular Economy and local development.
SANEEV 22 brought together participants and visitors from various backgrounds: pupils and students, young graduates, public and private companies, decentralised territorial authorities, to name but a few.
Solidarité Technologique, because of its involvement in vocational training and recycling activities, was able to take part. Represented by its QHSE Manager, Mr. ONANENA Christian, the topics discussed were vocational training, recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and circular economy.
